| My name is Berend Engelbrecht and I live in Utrecht, Holland. I work
as a software engineer for a company called Decos Software
Engineering in Noordwijk, Holland. Currently I am working for Decos on the
web-based document management system Decos Document - Web Edition. I have been regularly contracted out to S.W.I.F.T. (Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication) between 1992 and 1999. For Decos I mainly worked on the Decos/Graphics toolkit (a portable graphical OS shell written in C/C++), before the Decos Document project was started. I was also involved in projects for ElectroGIG, Philips Medical Systems, Mobil Oil and Kredietbank. In my spare time I wrote a resolution switch tool for Windows 95 games called QRes. Click here for more information and free download. Since June, 2000 a second freeware can be downloaded from www.softwarecave.com. Mobile FBUS, that I wrote together with my friend Gert-Jaap Glasbergen, is a programmer tool that can be used to control a Nokia mobile phone from your own Visual Basic program. The website www.berend.com is mirrored in my personal home page at home.wxs.nl/~einhard, hosted by the Dutch internet provider WorldAccess/Planet Internet.
